The Brewery    at Cladach is also worth a look. The beer is fantastic!





As for sport, there are 7   Golf Courses,    many tennis courts and putting greens.  Shiskine   golf & tennis club  is only  a 10 minute drive from Otterburn.

The   Coastal Way    follows a continuous 100 km route around the island

The Island has scenic roads for cycling, especially the west coast & Machrie Moor road are ideal for this. You can also go off road and there are quite a few forestry tracks that you can use.

Fishing is another activity you can do. Iorsa water & the Machrie burn are some of the better waters. Contact   Dougarie Estate   for more information.

If it is a wet day  then    Auchrannie    is a great place to go for a swim, sauna, steam room, sanarium, footbaths, feature showers and health treatments etc. There is a  20 metre indoor pool with children's pool and water features. -     only 10 minutes by car from Otterburn

In the winter you can go to the shore and watch the big waves coming in.  
There is of course another fantastic beach very close to Otterburn, only 3 miles away at Torrlinn

About Us

Otterburn is an extremely spacious and well appointed self catering house, that can sleep up to 10. It is  finished to a very high standard, and perfect for family holidays or a group of friends wishing to have an idyllic break away from it all. Set in a delightful garden with a large lawn to the front and mature flower beds around the side of the house - a riot of colour in the summer. An ideal spot to enjoy some alfresco dining.
